That Pimp Named Sugar

34
When you blog about your journey to get fit, you have to mention the good and the bad; the highs and the lows. For me, my low is my sugar addiction. That Pimp named Caramel has frequently had me on a ho stroll to my local Starbucks.

That Pimp game is STRONG and laid like a fresh perm

I swear that pimp hand is strong. Some girls will do something strange for some change. While I ain't about to trick for some damn sugar, I will go back on my healthy eating and indulge. *le sigh* I know I shouldn't, but it be calling me.

I know his struggle.

Anyway, some folks will have you thinking that they have the will power of a god. Just completely steadfast in their journey. LIES! (at least at first) It's just a smoke screen to give them an opportunity to look down at you and your struggles. Everybody, at some point, falls down; but we get up.

Do not see your struggle with your food of choice as a failure; see it as any other hurdle you have to face from day to day. Trying not to cuss out the people on the phone is a hurdle. Trying not to trip that bad-ass kid at the playground is a hurdle. Trying not to ram your car into the vehicle that just cut you off is a hurdle. We all deal with hurdles and we get over them...unless your name is Lolo Jones and you just trip over them. ROFLMBO!

This overrated heifer stay stumbling

So, if Lori (I will no longer call that girl by the adjective used to describe something done in secret. Her gov't name is Lori and that's what I'm going to call her) can stumble and fall in front of millions of people, become a laughing stock and still have the nerve to try to shade other people (in particular, black women), then you can get over the fact that you ate that cheeseburger. No one who cares saw you eat it. And even if they do care, it's not their body so forget them. What you eat is between you and your god. He forgives you. Now it's time for you to forgive yourself and get back to what you know is right...immediately. Don't wait until the next week or next day. Get it together and get back on track the same day. Once you wait too long, it's hard to get back into the groove.
